The result of my Goodreads Challenge.
In 2020, I had more time to read, like many others around the globe. So I took it as an opportunity to also think more about my reading and revive my Goodreads account. Besides listing all the books I've read (as far as I can remember), I challenged myself to read 30 books this year. Here are the results.

I managed to read 30 new books, of which I am proud because besides that, I also reread countless pages for work. Not to mention all the time I use for movie watching. Overall, it was nice to have bit more overview of my reading process, and to choose more consciously what I would read next. I varied between fiction and nonfiction, and different genres of literature, and besides many new books also fit in a few classics that had so far not been on my radar.
A nice feature of Goodreads is that you can keep track of the books you're reading, and get a visual overview from your reading challenge at the end. Here are some of the statistics I got.
Overall, it was an interesting and more mindful way of reading. So of course, I'll continue in 2021! I've already set up my challenge for 2021 - check out my account Viola's View on Goodreads to connect there if you're also a reader. I have quite a few books on me TBR list...
