An American singer and songwriter.
One of the quiet, talented musicians that you usually only stumble upon by chance - at least, unless you follow the American music scene very closely. I saw William Fitzsimmons by chance at a festival, and was intrigued - he played in an intimate venue, which was completely packed, and the entire audience was under some kind of spell from his music and presence.
Since then, I have often listened to the music of William Fitzsimmons, especially when I'm in the mood for a quiet, peaceful sound, often also in the background. His lyrics are also beautiful and poetic. He lives and works in Nashville, Tennessee, but it is definitely not the average country sound that you can find there. Some of his songs have been featured in TV shows, which has brought him a wider audience. Check it out if you're interested - for me one of the gems of the music industry.
