Based on the wonderful and wildly successful novel by Sally Rooney, the series follows the relationship of Marianne and Connell, two young people in Ireland. If you loved the novel I‘m sure
you’ll love this as well - first reviews are promising! (I've only seen the first few released episodes so far, in my opinion the series is every bit as good as the book, if that's possible).
Sally Rooney herself was also involved in the adaptation, which is always a good sign.
Shown on BBC from 27th of April on every Monday, also available on Hulu/BBC iPlayer depending on where you live.
