An instrumental piece from the opera Cavalleria Rusticana by Pietro Mascagni.
While working from home, it's nice to have some background music that does not disturb too much but is enjoyable. I find myself listening to more classical music than usual, and this is a piece that somehow I enjoy a lot these days. Cavalleria Rusticana has of course become a famous opera among film fans because it was featured in The Godfather Part III. This intermezzo is my favourite piece from it.
