An American TV series based on the novel by Philip Roth.
The novel "The Plot against America" by Philip Roth has long been a favourite of mine, and its alternate political situation in America has some eerie parallels with current events. Now a mini series has been produced by HBO, which is currently being released (March and April 2020).
It's one of those series of which you already know that they'll be great, just based on the novel, production team and cast (including John Turturro, Winona Ryder and Morgan Spector).
(PS some time later: I finished it all and it's amazing! It's very close to the novel, and manages to create a fascinating world which seems very realistic. The issues of the novel seem very current, and are successfully transported in the series.)
